Due to an increase in community cases, we would like to remind everyone of signs and symptoms of the Covid-19 Virus. Your child's academic success is our top priority at CJHS. For that reason, we have instituted a no zero policy and support system to insure all assignments are completed at Clinton JH. Please make sure the school has your latest contact information to receive instant notification of any missing assignments from your child. Together we can make a difference.
The Clinton School District is excited to announce that the district will once again participate in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) during the 2020 through 2023 school years! This means that we will be providing meals, regardless of eligibility category, at NO CHARGE for all students.
CJHS will provide a free school supply starter kit to each student for the 2021-2022 school year. Additional supplies may be requested from teachers depending on needs of each course. — We hope our supply pack gives some relief to families as they work through back to school expenses.
Child safety is the most important thing to CSD. Students will not be allowed on a bus that is not their usual route without an official bus note from the office. All transportation changes need to be submitted to your child's office BEFORE 2:30, so we can have adequate time to notify your child of the change. Thank you for your help in keeping our students safe.
CJHS will hold our parent teacher conferences at the conclusion of the 1st and 3rd nine weeks. Our next conference time will be Thursday, March 17, 2022. Details about format due to current health restrictions will be released at a later time.
Beginning in the 2019-20 school year, the Clinton School District has made a commitment to allow time for the staff to engage in collaborative meetings to help us meet the needs of our students. This commitment will require us to release the students an hour early every Friday which will be 2:05 for elementary and 2:25 for junior high/high school. We understand that this will require planning and preparation for the parents to be able to secure childcare, so we wanted to get the information out as soon as possible. Our first early release date will be on Friday, August 16th and continue every Friday there after. This will take the place of the early release Wednesdays that we had last year.
